Yes. K&R operates a genuine 24-hour service, 7 days a week. If you're locked out or your property isn't secure, call or WhatsApp 07464 274139 any time — day or night — and we'll get to you.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No call-out charge between 7am and 6pm. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees — you'll know the cost before we start the work.

How quickly can you get to me?

For emergencies we aim to reach you as fast as possible across Carshalton, Sutton and the surrounding Surrey and South London area. Call 07464 274139 and we'll give you an honest ETA.

Question 4

Will you damage my door or lock getting me in?

Accepted Answer

In the vast majority of lockouts we gain entry non-destructively — no damage to your door or frame. Where a lock has failed or been forced, we carry replacement mechanisms and anti-snap locks to secure you the same visit.

Question 5

Do you fit anti-snap and British Standard locks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We fit anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-pick locks and British Standard insurance-approved cylinders. If your insurer requires a specific standard, we'll fit a lock that meets it.

My double glazing is misted up — can you fix it without replacing the whole window?

Accepted Answer

Almost always, yes. Misted or "blown" units are a failed seal, not a broken window. We replace just the sealed glass unit — far cheaper than a new window — and restore clarity and energy efficiency.
